The Beginning - Day 1

hejsan, Guten Tag, and hello. Even though the first day is not over yet, I've decided to write the first post if for anything but to have something to do. The house is full of excitement and semi-franticness, smoothed over with a layer of calm preparedness that comes with practice packing. Yup, practice packing, are we lundstroms or what. Everything we are taking with us is in one backpack-like carry on, so we have had to make quite the sacrifices in deciding what to bring. The plan for today is to sleep on the plane ride tonight, and hopefully wake up refreshed to be able to survive the Paris airport tomorrow to get on another flight headed to Munich. Well thats it for Day 1 I guess... I really do hope I don't have to sit next to a screaming baby on the 9 hour flight. Vi ses, Tschüs, and good by America. Try not to miss us too much while we're gone.

~Cheers, Justin~

Hello Lundstroms,
Sounds like a rip-roaring adventure so far! Just kidding. I hope your flights went well or are going well. You guys be careful over there. Not much here. Say hello to your mom and dad for me.

Awesome site - great job, Justin.

Buy good quality earplug (come in wild colors) - great for screaming kids, snoring parents, and noisy hotels.

Have fun for all of us!
